| The band on albums chart |
Sevendust debuted at #14 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart with their fourth album, Seasons. The Atlanta outfit moved 67,046 copies in their first week out. Static-X clocked in at #20 with their third album, Shadow Zone, selling over 48k. The most surprising debut of the week came from Coheed And Cambria at #52 with their sophomore outing, In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3. The Equal Vision band shifted 22,629 units out of the box.
Other Shoutweb bands doing well on the Top 200 include Evanescence (#23), A Perfect Circle (#28), Linkin Park (#32), Staind (#61), Audioslave (#66), Trapt (#74), Thursday (#93), Ill Nino (#104), Smile Empty Soul (#136), Yellowcard (#143), A.F.I. (#152) and Brand New (#184). |
| Korn |
| korn will kick off the track in November. Droid have been tapped to support the outing. Despite an early leak of dates last week, the schedule for the tour is still being firmed up. Korn will drop their sixth studio album, Take A Look In The Mirror, on November 25th. The first single "Right Now" is currently receiving spins at radio stations across the country. |

| Hatebreed filmed a video last week for their new single, "This Is Now". The clip will premiere on Headbangers Ball, hosted by Hatebreed singer Jamey Jasta, on October 25th on MTV2. "This Is Now" also appears on the new Headbangers Ball CD, which hits stores today. Hatebreed will release their new album, The Rise Of Brutality, on October 28th. |

| 36 Crazyfists recently wrapped-up work on their sophomore outing, A Snow Capped Romance, with producer James Wisner (Further Seems Forever). The effort is due out on January 20th. |

Zao to sign with Ferret Music? |

Zao are now said to be considering signing a contract with Ferret Music for their upcoming new album which is planned for a release next year. Official word on the matter is expected in the coming weeks. Zao of course recently reformed and as per usual have seen some line-up changes with Dan Weyandt now being replaced on vocals by Josh Ashworth, formerly of Society's Finest.
